I’m so pleased to be able to tell you all that I’ll be hosting two beginner knitting workshops on Sunday 26th February. Both classes will be held at my favourite shop in Nottingham – Debbie Bryan. Debbie’s charming gift and craft shop won Nottingham’s best independent retailer in 2016 – and deservedly so!

Walk into Debbie Bryan’s shop in Nottingham’s Lace Market and you’re greeted with exquisite handmade wares, accessories and stationery. Each one is lovingly sourced from independent designer makers and studio artists. It’s a treasure trove of handpicked gifts, and my absolute favourite place to visit for a spot of craft inspiration.
If you follow me on Instagram, you may have seen me at a Christmas wreath making class back in early December. It was the most festive fun, and Debbie’s shop is the perfect setting. At the back of her beautiful shop is a tea room and workshop – where you can indulge in delicious homemade desserts and cakes, whilst trying your hand at a new craft – ceramics, paper crafts, copper-etching…the list is endless.
Knitting Workshops
Join me for a lovely morning or afternoon on Sunday 26th February, learning how to knit – details on each workshop are below. All materials will be provided, and there’ll be oodles of tea, coffee and cake to help you along.
Don’t worry if you don’t have any experience whatsoever – these are ‘from the ground up’ friendly beginner classes, designed to get you started in the world of hand knitting. Great too if you’re revisiting knitting for the first time in a while, or want to hone your basic techniques.

11am – 1pm: Beginners: Trio of Hand-knitted Samples
Using a hand-picked selection of luxury wool and alpaca yarns, you’ll be guided with friendly knitting expertise to create your own trio of knitted samples, a perfect introduction if you’re looking to learn this blissful craft.
2pm – 5pm: Beginners: Hand-knitted Cowl Neck workshop
A perfect, mid-winter wardrobe addition. Create your own neck-warmer using wool and alpaca yarns with attentive knitting expertise.
