Oh Ravelry! How I love you.
Here are a few more patterns that sit in my stash, waiting to be purchased and knitted in good time!
After starting my ‘Knitwear Faves’ series, I’ve been inspired to branch out into a new series exclusively on my ‘Ravelry Faves’. I thought I’d share my stash of ‘to knit’ projects, because let’s face it, after four years of full-on knitting I’ve developed quite the list – on an epic scale! Each month, I’ll run through a selection of both free and paid for projects I have on my Ravelry ‘Favourites’ page, starting with these five absolute beauties for this installment.
A lot of exciting things happened this week! WOOL AND THE GANG revealed their awesome team-up with Aurélie Bidermann for their new collection, Woolfolk launched their AW15 collection and Bonnie Sennott announced her latest Neckwear KAL!
The previous knitwear faves was dominated by retailers and their new AW15 collections, but I’m pleased to balance the scales with designer/makers leaping forward this week with their handmade patterns and goodies!

Right now, our blog and social media feeds are being filled with up-to-date AW15 knitwear trends. So it’s no wonder that this week’s knitwear faves features some of the most cosy, warming pieces of knitwear. It’s a good mixture of retail and make-your-own this week, so I hope this inspires you to buy or handmake some lovely knits – because these are just heaven! I have a feeling this autumn is going to be a good one.
I’ve been having a trawl on Ravelry for new patterns (I have no idea why, because I have a queue of projects longer than the wall of China…) and so all of my knitwear faves this week are the latest additions that caught my eye.
Whether you make your own, commission it handmade, or nip down the shops to get your knitwear fix…this collection of knitwear faves from this week will whet your appetite!
It’s been another awesome week for knitwear. I can definitely tell people are steadily ramping up towards those colder months. Not to wish the Summer away too quickly, but I have serious #goals for my autumn/winter knitwear this year!
Just a quick update from me today! I just thought I’d share a few links featuring knitwear that’s inspired me this week. I’ll either be buying something very much like this, or I’ll be on the hunt for patterns to make my own!
We’ll soon be moving into that lovely season that is Autumn and I can’t wait to swamp myself up in oversized jumpers and subject myself on the daily to ‘hat hair’ with my favourite knitted bobble hat!
Seen any knitwear that’s peaked your interest this week? Let me know!

One blog post just wasn’t enough to cover all of my favourite autumn/winter jumper knitting patterns that I’m desperately in need of! (If you missed my last post click here!) And as I’m ‘knitting for me’ this autumn, my list keeps getting ever longer. So stick the kettle on, grab a blanket and put your feet up while you check out the rest of my must-haves for this year.

It’s my favourite time of year, when the leaves start to turn and the cool air begins to bite, and my choice of jumper becomes progressively thicker day-by-day. This two part blog explores my favourite jumper knitwear and knitting patterns I’ve discovered this autumn. Comfy, cosy, snuggly, warm and soft – don’t these all just make you want to curl up in a ball with nice hot cup of Ovaltine?
